Private belly casting for the expectant mother. I can paint or decorate your plaster cast, or provide you with ideas and assistance.

Private and group henna sessions--for pregnancy, postpartum, or anytime! Lasts about 2-3 weeks and is totally safe and non-toxic.

My services and products make welcome gifts for expectant and new parents. I offer a gift registry, so parents can choose exactly what they need.

Doula Services

A doula emotionally and physically supports women and their families during birth. Her focus is on helping the mother and her partner cope with the intensity of labor. The clinical management of labor is done by doctors, midwives and/or nurses, so the gift of the doula is to tend solely to the personal experiences of the family. Whether the birthing is in a hospital, a birth center, or at home, the doula contributes to the holistic well-being of the entire family.

My birth doula services are comprehensive and include Birthing From Within childbirth preparation classes (group or private); two private prenatal visits; phone and email consultations; continuous support during labor, birth and immediate postpartum; and two postpartum or breastfeeding visits. In addition to our visits and classes together, I am available by phone and email to discuss any questions or concerns that arise during pregnancy and early postpartum.

I serve families in the greater Santa Barbara area, and will travel to Ventura and the Santa Ynez Valley.

I always work with several wonderful back-up doulas, who offer additional support as needed.
